CHC41215 Certificate IV in Career Development

The CHC41215 Certificate IV in Career Development is a nationally-accredited qualification that is ideal for professionals who provide a range of transition services to individuals and groups including employers.

It involves the application of a career development framework to assist clients to gain knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours that underpin a self-directed approach to life, learning and work. 

Relevant roles include human resources, school career guidance and private career counsellors. Individuals who complete this program will be eligible for associate membership of professional associations affiliated with the Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA).

It may be coupled with the CHC41115 Certificate IV in Employment Services to achieve a dual qualification.

Entry requirements:
There are no pre-requisites for entry into the CHC41215 Certificate IV in Career Development, the course is designed wherever possible to draw upon workplace experiences for both the learning and assessment activities.

Recommended units:
The Certificate IV in Career Development consists of thirteen units of competency, eight compulsory core units and five electives.  Courses can be tailored to suit your working environment through a wide range of electives.
